GTH UI - Gate To Heavens Bible

GTH has two possible UI (User Interface) settings. Medieval times is shown above. However, they are very similar, and the only difference is appearance. Modern times is the other possible setup.

1. Enemy status. RA remaining is represented by the red segment, and lost life by the depleted sections. The name is also important. It identifies the enemy, and also tells you what level the enemy is in comparison to your level. When it is dark green, the enemy is 5 or more levels below you. When it is light green, the enemy is 4 to 1 level under you. When it is white, the enemy is the same level as you. When it is lighter yellow, like in the picture, the enemy is 1 to 4 levels higher than you. When it is a rich, full yellow, the enemy is at least 5 levels higher than you. For best experience it is usually best to attack enemies which are 1 to 4 levels higher than yourself.

2. Hot keys. Skills can be hot keyed in the skill window, and then executed quickly by pressing the corresponding function key.

3. Mini map. This helps you to navigate unfamiliar areas, and can also act as a radar to locate enemies. It can be zoomed in or out with the + and - buttons seen on screen, and a full size map of the current zone can be opened with the Map button seen on screen. It can be closed or opened. The zone name is also shown near the top. Also, your coordinates are shown near the map name. The upper left hand corner of a zone is (0,0) and the lower right hand corner will be the highest numbers. Monsters appear as dark purple, and players as dark blue.

4. Menu buttons. Each menu has its own hot key to access which can be seen by hovering the mouse over the corresponding menu button. If you do not use the hot keys, the menus can be accessed using these buttons.

5. Your status. Current level is shown in the upper left hand corner. Your players name is shown to the right of this. Under this is the RA bar, also known as HP (Hit points). When it reaches zero you will not be able to fight any longer. The red represents remaining RA. The SA bar under it is also known as MP (Mana points) and is used to execute skills. The blue represents remaining SA. Under this is the experience bar. When it reaches 100.00%, you will gain another level. Under this is the Zen Lv. This will always be half of your current level unless you complete quests. This allows you to learn skills. With a low zen level, you will be unable to learn skills appropriate for your level.

6. Active skills. When you cast an active skill which adds an effect to yourself, it will be shown here, which means that it is in effect. Potions and such also will have the same effect. When the time is nearly over, the icon will begin to flash. A few select number of buffs will flash even though they are not about to expire. These skills are ones that are active until canceled. When you log out or exit, or become forcefully disconnected,, all stored active skills are deleted, including premium potions.
